No prior experience is required. SciComm Summer Camp is designed for beginners and emerging communicators who want structured guidance in media training, storytelling, and content creation.

If students are interested in learning about podcasting before camp starts, we suggest our free Spring Break Studio virtual learning opportunity.

How many students are in each session?

Each SciComm Summer Camp session is intentionally capped at 12 students maximum to ensure a focused, interactive learning environment.

Keeping enrollment small allows for:

  • Meaningful group discussions

Unlike large online courses, this virtual summer camp prioritizes real-time interaction and individual attention, helping middle and high school students build confidence in storytelling and communication.
